The Prosport Water Temperature Sender Radiator Hose Adapter will allow you to mount a water temperature sensor probe without too much of a custom installation.

These are crafted from 6061 aluminum, and this will install into your upper radiator hose by cutting the hose, and installing this adapter, and clamping each end of the hose on both sides of the adapter. The sender unit provision is in the middle of the adapter, and the sending unit will be directly in the stream of the water towards the radiator without, absorbing excess transient heat from the engine block. This will make for accurate readings of the water temperature. 

This adapter features a 1/8” NPT fitting to accommodate most water temperature sender units.
