Once upon a time, Subaru owners who converted to external wastegates had to remove their factory turbo, and have the internal wategates welded shut. All this did was create headaches, and messes. You risk cracking, excess weld slag coming apart inside the turbo, mass hysteria.

Well GrimmSpeed was kind enough to engineer this nimble little bracket that takes about 5 minutes to install. This is effective, and you can easily revert back to stock if you needed to.

Please note that this bracket will not work on the VF series turbochargers installed on the Legacy GT. The part number for the LGT 082001 is required.
