EBC Brakes Racing introduces an exceptional range of fully-floating 2-piece brake rotors that bring a new level of quality to high-performance braking components.

These rotors are crafted from top-notch materials, making them some of the highest-quality 2-piece discs available on the market, regardless of price point. The outer friction rings are cast from a high-copper, high-carbon G3500 disc alloy, ensuring durability and superior performance. The bells are precision-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and hard anodized for both visual appeal and excellent longevity.

EBC's patented SD-Drive technology bobbins allow the cast iron outer ring to "float" on them. This unique design permits the friction ring to expand and contract freely by up to 3mm, even under the extreme heat generated during intense braking.

All bobbins are meticulously machined from a single piece of stainless steel, preventing unsightly corrosion and ensuring the outer ring remains free to float, even after years of exposure to the elements. As a result, EBC Racing's 2-piece floating discs provide a low-maintenance solution suitable for both public roads and the race track. Each bobbin location also features an anti-rattle spring clip, ensuring that these discs operate silently without the "off-brake disc rattle" often found in many other full-race 2-piece disc systems.

Upgrading to an EBC 2-piece disc not only enhances performance but also reduces unsprung rotational mass, leading to sharper turn-in, improved tire grip, better fuel efficiency, and an increase in brake horsepower at the wheels. What's more, when the cast iron friction ring becomes worn after extended use, you can simply replace the outer ring, allowing you to reuse the center hub and stainless bobbins, ultimately reducing long-term running costs.

After extensive development, rigorous dyno testing, and the establishment of a new production line at the EBC Brakes World Headquarters in Northampton, UK, EBC is thrilled to launch a new range of high-performance 2-piece fully-floating brake rotors under the newly established EBC Brakes Racing sub-brand.

Every outer ring is cast from the finest-grade disc alloy, G3500. Derived from race technology and boasting high carbon and copper metallurgy, G3500 disc alloy offers exceptional thermal conductivity and heat cycling durability for extended brake rotor life and performance, especially during demanding or track driving.

All cast iron rings feature 48 curved vanes and are handed left and right, ensuring the vanes rotate correctly for maximum cooling efficiency.

The mounting bells used in EBC Brakes Racing's 2-piece rotors are precision machined from aerospace-grade aluminum billets, providing both strength and lightweight properties. These bells are then black anodized, offering an attractive and corrosion-resistant finish, allowing the mounting bells to be reused for multiple outer friction rings, resulting in lower long-term operational costs.
