Front mount intercoolers lower the intake charge which greatly improves the cooling efficiency of the turbocharger. If you heat soak your intercooler, then you can hinder both your power and performance.

The core of the COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler Kit comes in a 24" X 11" X 4" and is a bar and plate design. This core is capable of supporting more than  800WHP  and will come in a nice black finish. The pipes included in the kit will come in a 2.5" size with smooth bends that reduce the amount of air turbulence under boost. These pipes are powder-coated in a wrinkle black finish to provide a clean look, and to be extra resistant to rust and corrosion. The pipes also feature a BPV adapter for those who want to employ the factory bypass valve or any aftermarket BPV with a factory like flange. There will also be a provision for an air temperature sensor for those who need to convert to speed density later on. 

Black silicone couplers, clamps, all the hardware, as well as a COBB Coolant Overflow Tank along with a washer fluid filler neck will be included to make this intercooler kit ready for installation.
